What could be sweeter than an afternoon of posting how-to discussions, book signings, fancy Kentucky Bourbon door prizes, and Valentine’s Day fun? Come to the free opening ceremony Books, trinkets, and the Bourbon Regional Miniature Book Fair10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 11 at Souls of Sight II in Ludlow, one of the most famous distilleries in northern Kentucky.
Learn from the authors: Six authors will share publishing tips and discuss their latest books in the local interest/travel, true crime, mystery, sports, music, and history genres. You will have the opportunity to buy books for Valentine’s Day, for yourself, or to get through the hectic winter days.
Authors featured at Bookfair:
True crime writer Jane Simon Amison, author America Fatal: The Story of the Serial Killer Belle, the headline-grabbing murders: the Indiana murders, And Murder in the Jazz AgeHe will talk about how to research and write true crime books.
Mystery/thriller writer Dan Andriaco, His 24 books include English garden puzzle And Corpse City QueenHe will discuss how he goes about writing his riddles and where he gets his ideas from. A fan of Sherlock Holmes, he is a member of the Baker Street Irishmen and editor of the Baker Street Journal.
Professional journalist, reporter, editor and columnist Peter Bronson, owner and publisher of Chilidog Press, which publishes about a dozen books each year, will share publishing tips and provide FAQs about Chilidog Press. Bronson is the author and co-author of 10 books, including his most recent series on the mob in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky: Forbidden Fruit: Sin City’s Underworld and the Hell’s Supper Club And Not in our city: Queen’s City vs. King of Smoot.
