We may celebrate the New Year, however Bubba Wallace and his buddies in NASCAR I have already moved on to Valentine’s Day.
Yes, Cupid was working overtime this weekend, and this weird little kid didn’t stop until every driver was satisfied!
Wallace f longtime girlfriend Amanda Carter tied the knot on Saturday, and delivered an absolute nuptials look that included a McDonald’s food truck at 1 a.m., a smoke dance, a cameo from Dale Earnhardt Jr., and an absolute revelation of BOMBSHELL on one chauffeur.
Not to be outdone by another driver, he also popped the question over the weekend, while NASCAR OGs Kyle Busch and his wife Samantha celebrated their anniversary.
What a week for love!

Bubba Wallace marries Amanda Carter, and throws out cigarettes
Let’s start with the ‘atta-boy’ of OutKick fan favorite Bubba Wallace, who finally tied the knot with his now-wife Amanda on New Year’s Eve.
The two lovebirds have been together for more than five years now, and they got married at the JW Marriott in Charlotte.
Over 250 guests showed up for the big night – a good turnout considering Bubba decided to get married on New Year’s Eve! – Including many NASCAR stars.
best bud Runner-up was Ryan Blaneywhile William Byron, Daniel Suarez and Dale Jr. have also been spotted.

Anyway, according to People! (A great magazine you can flip through in the Publix checkout line, by the way), the food menu was ELITE, including tuna tartare, duck meatballs, pulled pork spring rolls, blue crab croquettes, and whipped cream ricotta.
However, that’s not the “elite” part I’m talking about…
McDonald’s and NASCAR team up for Bubba Wallace’s wedding
No no, the “elite” food I’m referring to came in the form of a McDonald’s food truck, which apparently arrived at the Marriott just after 1am to help everyone down the champagne.
“We wanted a more casual food setting since it’s late in the evening,” said Amanda. “Then at 1 a.m. when the party is over, we have a McDonald’s food truck coming by to deliver chicken nuggets and french fries.”
What a shift here. This, folks, is why you keep hearing boys yell at their sponsors after a race. McDonald’s is a Big Shepherd for Bubbaand our man asking for a favor on his big day and receiving the bows.
I didn’t know McDonald’s even had food trucks, but I can imagine this puppy line was deeeeeeeep at 1am after the wedding.

Apparently William Byron is dating Irene Blaney
As the only NASCAR columnist with nuts for delving into these kinds of things, I’m ashamed that I didn’t know William Byron was dating Ryan Blaney’s sister, Erin.
Seriously, how did this slip through the cracks? This is the #content I live for, and I discovered it by stalking Instagram photos from Bubba Wallace’s wedding?

Three years. Three years and I’m just not calling? An embarrassment. I’m better than that, and I’ll be better going forward.

By the way, our guy Ryan Blaney had no idea this was coming. Look at the utter shock in his face as Hooters friend Gianna Tulio plants one on him.

Well, let’s wrap up Bubba’s wedding with a few more items.
First, it wouldn’t be a NASCAR makeover without the sport’s #1 party boy, Dale Jr., in a nutshell.
I’m not sure Bubba gets Dale Jr. though. Which you’ve heard stories about from the Daytona 500 Speedweeks (look it up), but our guy can still party even in his more mature years, there’s no doubt about that.
I hope they have some bud heavens for my goats. Non-negotiable.

While Bubba was finishing up his big day, Eric Jones was just beginning to plan it!
Veteran Petty GMS popped the question to girlfriend Holly Shelton on Christmas Eve, and happily, she said “Sure, why the hell not?!”
For those back at home, these are now various off-season engagements from the NASCAR Cup Series vet collection. Daniel Suarez kicked things off again in November by question popped up To Julia Pique, and now Jones is doing a knee bend on Christmas Eve.
Something tells me one of the Blaney brothers is on deck!

Well, one last stroll down romantic aisle before heading out of here today.
We can’t talk about all the lovebirds – new and old – out there without shouting out to the absolute legends of the game of the moment, Kyle and Samantha Bush.
The longtime couple celebrated their wedding anniversary over the weekend, and OutKick star Samantha took us behind the scenes of the big day all those years ago “since Instagram didn’t exist.”
Naturally, I had to pick a few gems.
There’s a lot to unpack there, but I’ll do it quickly because it’s Monday and he has things to do.

The 2023 motorsports season turns green this month with the Rolex 24 landing at Daytona, followed by the Busch Light Clash in Los Angeles (EG) the following Sunday. By my calculations, that means we’ve pulled through the shortest off-season in all of sports.
