According to the Daily MailNelson Peltz, father of the Bates Motel billionaire, has sued wedding planners Nicole Bragin and Ariana Grigalba for refusing to return the $159,000 deposit he gave them.
In the lawsuit, Nelson, 80, claims he and his wife, Claudia Peltz, hired Grijalba and Braghin in March 2022 through their company, Plan Design Events.
After breaking up with their first wedding planner, the Peltz family rented the duo six weeks ahead of their star-studded wedding at billionaire Palm Beach’s estate.
However, after only nine days on the job, Grigalba and Bragin decided not to move forward with Nicola and Beckham because they couldn’t handle the couple’s guest list, which included over 500 people.
“The celebrity of the newlyweds along with the expected attendance of many high-profile guests requires that the wedding planner have the experience and staff to plan, coordinate and execute a wedding of the expected level and complexity,” the suit says. Daily Mail.
Nilsson also included some text messages his daughter allegedly sent to wedding planners in the lawsuit, including one in which the actress said she was “tired” of fixing their mistakes after they said Lewis Hamilton replied “yes” even though he told the couple He could not attend the wedding.
The “Transformers: Age of Extinction” actress allegedly wrote, “Lewis Hamilton didn’t answer the invite. So explain why his name is [sic] on the list please. “
“We spoke to him. He can’t come to explain why I said it’s rsvpd yes,” she added.
Grijalba tried to explain that she needed more time to figure out what app the virtual guest list was on.
She allegedly wrote “I need time to do this”. “I’ll take a minute to learn the app and send you the info, I hate to sound like an idiot but I hate not to give you what you need ASAP. I’ll be back soon.”
Nicola, who was apparently upset, allegedly replied, “That’s not true. It wasn’t rsvp at all.”
Nelson also claimed in the lawsuit that the wedding planners had a drinking problem.

One week before the RSVP exchange, Grijalba allegedly posted in the group chat that she was “going for a tequila before her head explodes,” to which the “Last Airbender” actress allegedly replied, “Yes Queen!!!!”
Nelson is also reportedly suing the duo for legal fees.
