The best red carpet looks at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards
See some of the hottest looks from Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, as the stars gathered to celebrate the iconic 80th Annual Awards.
The ceremony is a pioneer not only of who will win the Oscars this March, but also of the fashion trends we can expect to see throughout awards season.
Many attendees arrived in gothic-inspired black outfits, from Selena Gomez’s dramatic Valentino gown to the lace Jamie Lee Curtis gown she wore over a strapless jumpsuit (also by the Italian label). Lisa Koshy and actress Paige Butcher were among the other stars who opted for dark lace ensembles.
But there were pops of color—and an abundance of ruffles and shimmering sequins, too. Laverne Cox dazzled in a vintage John Galliano dress and Julia Garner was one of several stars to don the powdery pink, arriving in a three-tiered Gucci design. With organizers this year rolling out a gray carpet, Lily James and “Top Gun: Maverick” actress Monica Barbaro took the opportunity to don eye-catching red gowns.
Many of the men of the evening broke with black-tie traditions in bright, ornate outfits, from the oversized silk flower affixed to an Eddie Redmay suit to the powder blue Louis Vuitton suit worn by “The Banshees of Inisherin'” star Barry Keoghan. Elsewhere, Reece Feldman donned a pleated skirt while TikTok star Josh Richards wore a crop top under his striped suit.
