Sean Zack, Senior Editor (@tweet): I did not make this purchase, I want to be clear. But apparently everyone around me did: Costco’s wedge set. It’s perfectly fine if golf at the highest level is just as expensive and dedicated a pursuit as skiing. But we need the lower levels too. And it looks like my fellow 20-something midwesterners have found a winner in these Costco wedges.

Connor Federico, Video Producer and Editor: I think it’s crazy that Course checker From Open Links Golf is a program Free Services. If you’re visiting somewhere new in the US or Canada and looking for a place to play golf, this site gets it done. Pins on the map categorized by private, semi-private, public, resorts, and towns help you filter out exactly what you’re looking for. It’s also a great tool for planning a golf trip to the Caribbean, Ireland or Australia!
James Colgan, Assistant Editor (Lord, save her): It’s hard to beat this deal, Connor, but I’ll try my hand. In the early summer months, I would go so far as to say that the $26 Twilight rate at the Red Course at Bethpage State Park is not only the best deal of my year, but the best bargain in all of golf. (Don’t bother trying for tee time, though, they’re all booked.)
Tim Riley, Director of Social Media and Commerce (@tweet): This one snuck into the buzzer before the ball dropped in 2022, but newly launched G-Tech heated jacket It’s the best outfit I’ve added to my wardrobe this year. Peace be upon you, I’m a self-confessed kid once the temperatures start to drop. I can’t stand the cold. This heated jacket has been a game changer for me. I’ve worn it golfing, dog walking, commuting, and really anything that requires me to be outside for an extended amount of time in my month. At this point I leave it on a hook by the door so I don’t leave the house without it in the winter. It’s not a bargain buy, but you’ll get some serious value out of this heated jacket.

I did this two years ago – and Wrote about it here – I will be back next year. For $450, we get four rounds of golf and lodging And the Home cooked breakfasts. This is value.
Alan Bastable, Executive Editor (@tweet): Not sure how anyone can top it 2 pack Morpilot UV lights Which my golf buddies and I bought from Amazon for $18. With these torches in hand, we went golf ball hunting on a cool fall night at a local course and I discovered more than 150 balls in less than an hour. No, Piastowski, that’s valuable.
