Why do Netflix movies look… like this?
I ask myself this as I watch the raucous reel of the world’s streaming service’s biggest 2023 movie slate. Something about the bright lighting and simple, bright colors made me assume this was a comedy, but it appears to be a “conspiracy drama” based on investigative reporting? The real film status is not clear.
Inserting a David Fincher clip into this reel is like having jamon iberico at your luncheons.
